A fifth-year pro, Pierce joins the K-Wings on 01/09/13 after starting the season in the Central Hockey League with the Missouri Mavericks. Pierce has posted 254 points (113 goals, 141 assists) in his career, primarily in the CHL. By coming to the K-Wings, the native of Troy, Michigan will be reunited with Kory Karlander, Joel Martin and Brian Bicek. The native of Troy, Michigan and Karlander were teammates for two seasons back in 2008-10 in the CHL with the Odessa Jackalopes while he was a teammate of Martin’s in Odessa during the 2009-10 campaign. Pierce and Bicek were teammates for four seasons (2004-08) at Western Michigan University and again this season in Missouri.
