Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL, three-time defending North Division Champions and National Hockey League affiliate to the Vancouver Canucks, and American Hockey League’s Chicago Wolves announce the K-Wings will return home this Saturday, October 27th for a 7:30 p.m. face-off against the Evansville Icemen during the 9th Annual Orange Ice Game, presented by WKFR and The CW7.
After beginning the home-and-home series on the road against the Icemen on Friday, October 26th, the K-Wings head back to Vanrick Drive to conclude a busy afternoon on hockey and fun.
This Saturday will feature a doubleheader beginning at 3:30 p.m., when the Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings, take on the Johnstown Tomahawks.
The K-Wings annual orange ice contest will follow the J-Wings game; however, fans coming to game can also watch every moment of game three of the World Series between the Detroit Tigers and the San Francisco Giants on the largest video board in southwest Michigan. Wings Stadium will air the Tigers-Giants game on the new 12.5x40 video board.
Fans are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes for a costume contest for both adults and children. There will also be trick-or-treating in the concourse and a post-game K-Wings Halloween jersey auction. Fans who purchase a ticket to the K-Wings game on October 27th will receive FREE admission to the Jr. K-Wings contest.
Single-game and season tickets for the 2012-2013 season are on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office. Ticket Office hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday’s. To charge tickets by phone, please call Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000.
Tickets for all K-Wings home games are $13 and $17.50 for adults and only $7 for kids ages 14 and under. The price for all K-Wings premium night games (all colored ice games and New Year’s Eve game) are just $1 more.
Fans can save money by purchasing K-Wings single-game tickets in advance because tickets purchased on the day of a game increase by $2 (adults only).
