Game Preview                                           
For the second straight night, the Kalamazoo Wings will lace up their skates against the Toledo Walleye. Kalamazoo started the home-and-home series last night by defeating Toledo 3-2 at Wings Stadium. On the season, Kalamazoo is 6-3-1-0 against Toledo.

Ready to hit the road, the K-Wings will commence a season-long five-game road swing. Starting tonight, seven out of Kalamazoo’s next eight games will occur away from Wings Stadium. Kalamazoo has won five out of their last six games on the road.

After going 2-1-1-0 on a four-game road trip, the Walleye will head back to the Huntington Center to start a five-game home stand. Toledo, who is 13-7-0-3 at home this season, has won four out of their last five games at home. Toledo’s last home setback was a 3-1 loss to Kalamazoo back on January 25th.

On the Road Again
Starting tonight, the K-Wings will begin a five-game road swing. The five-game road trip will be the longest this season for Kalamazoo.

Shooting Woes
Last night the K-Wings posted 17 shots in a 3-2 overtime victory over the Walleye. The 17 shots were the fewest obtained in a game this season by the K-Wings.

Sam I Am
Defenseman Sam Ftorek has been a power-play specialist for the K-Wings. Ftorek, who shares the team-lead in power-play tallies, has scored five of his seven goals this season with a man-advantage.

Working Overtime
Kalamazoo’s overtime victory last night was their fourth this season. Three of the K-Wings five victory in the month of February have occurred in overtime.
