Game Preview For the second time in less than 24 hours, the Kalamazoo Wings will battle the Gwinnett Gladiators at The Arena at Gwinnett Center. Tonight is the final regular season encounter between the clubs this season. All-time, Kalamazoo is 6-3-1-1 against Gwinnett.
Losing last night 4-2 to Gwinnett coupled with a victory by the Evansville IceMen, Kalamazoo has dropped into fifth place in the North Division. With 33 points, the K-Wings trail the IceMen by a single point for fourth place in the division.
The Gladiators were led yesterday by a pair of goals from Alex Belzile and a 27-save performance from Mike Lee. Lee ranks second in the ECHL with a 2.05 goals-against-average. With 51 points, the Gladiators lead the South Division by two points over the Greenville Road Warriors.
