Game Preview Finishing the week the same way they started it, the Kalamazoo Wings will travel to the Allen County Memorial Coliseum to face-off against the Fort Wayne Komets. On Wednesday, Fort Wayne defeated Kalamazoo 7-3. On the season, the K-Wings are 4-3-0-0 against the Komets.
Coming off a heartbreaking 2-1 setback last night at Wings Stadium to the Florida Everblades, the K-Wings will head on the road for the first half of a home-and-home series against the Komets. Kalamazoo enters the day two points behind Fort Wayne for third place in the North Division.
After two straight losses (0-1-1-0) on the road, Fort Wayne returns home for two straight divisional contests. Despite the win against the K-Wings on Wednesday, the Komets have dropped three of their last five games at coliseum and are 5-5-0-0 on home ice this season.
