Game Preview Meeting for the first of two times this week at the Allen County Memorial Coliseum, the Kalamazoo Wings will lace up their skates against the Fort Wayne Komets. On the season, the K-Wings are 4-2-0-0 against the Komets, which includes a record of 1-1-0-0 at the coliseum.
Snapping a four-game overall winless streak on Saturday, the K-Wings enter tonight looking to end another streak. Kalamazoo hasn’t won on the road since November 20th in Orlando, a stretch of four games. The four-game (0-2-1-1) road winless streak is the longest drought this season for the K-Wings.
Following a five-game road trip, in which they went 3-2-0-0, the Komets return home for a night before heading back on the road for two games this weekend. Dropping three of their last four at home; Fort Wayne is 4-5-0-0 on home ice this season.
