Game Preview Getting ready to spend the holiday will one another, the Kalamazoo Wings and Fort Wayne Komets will commence a home-and-home series on Thanksgiving Night. While this is the fifth meeting of the season between the teams, tonight is only the second at the coliseum.
Snapping a season-long three-game road losing streak on Tuesday with a 4-3 victory over the Orlando Solar Bears, the K-Wings will hit the ice looking to win consecutive road games for the first time this season. Kalamazoo enters in third place in the North Division, two points behind Cincinnati for second.
Starting with their 6-2 loss on November 10th to Kalamazoo, Fort Wayne has dropped at season-high three straight games, which includes two straight at home. The Komets enter in fourth place in the North Division, just one point behind Kalamazoo for third.
