Game Preview For the first time since last year’s Kelly Cup Playoffs, the Kalamazoo Wings and South Carolina Stingrays will take the ice against each other. Both encounters this season will occur at Wings Stadium, with the second meeting scheduled for Friday.
Today is the third-game of season-long five-game home stand for the K-Wings. Dropping the first two games of the stand, Kalamazoo enters this morning looking to snap a three-game losing streak. With 10 points, the K-Wings are in third place in the North Division, one point behind the second place Fort Wayne Komets.
While the K-Wings are spending time at home, the Stingrays are on a road trip. This morning is the second-leg of a season-long six-game road trip. South Carolina, who started the trip with a 4-3 loss to Gwinnett, has dropped three straight games away from the North Charleston Coliseum.
