Game Preview The Kalamazoo Wings and Cincinnati Cyclones will square off in a trick-or-treat Halloween matchup that has first place implication in the North Division. Tonight is the first meeting of the season between the divisional foes and it’s also the first half of a home-and-home series that will conclude Friday night at Wings Stadium.
Winners for four straight, the K-Wings come into tonight’s matchup with a two-point lead in the division over the Cyclones and the Toledo Walleye. After this evening, Kalamazoo will return to Wings Stadium to commence a season-long five-game home stand, which starts Friday versus Cincinnati.
Similar to Kalamazoo, Cincinnati has been on a roll. The Cyclones will touch the ice looking to extend a five-game unbeaten streak. Cincinnati has rattled off a record of 4-0-2-0 during the stretch, which includes a perfect record of 2-0-0-0 at the U.S. Bank Arena.
